Everything you need to know about giving, sending, and redeeming a Truffle Hill gift card.
The basics
What is a Truffle Hill gift card?
It is the whole of Truffle Hill in one card. From a jar of truffle salt to a bottle of estate wine, a long lunch, or a guided truffle hunt with our dogs, the card works on everything we make, grow, pour, and serve. Often called a gift voucher, it is the simplest way to give someone Australia's black gold and let them choose their own moment to enjoy it.
What can it be spent on?
Anything Truffle Hill sells, including:
- Gourmet truffle products: oils, salts, condiments, and the preserved truffle range
- Fresh Black Périgord truffles, in season from June to August
- Award-winning estate wines from our own vineyard
- Lunch at the restaurant, Thursday to Sunday
- Truffle hunts with our trained dogs (2026 season, coming soon)
- Tasting room visits, daily 10am to 4pm
- Merchandise and gift packs
How much can I put on a card?
Choose from set values of $50, $100, $150, $250, $500, and $1,000.
Is it a physical card or a digital one?
Digital. It is delivered by email with a unique redemption code, so there is nothing to post and nothing to lose in a drawer. The recipient can show the code on their phone or print it, whichever they prefer.
Buying and sending
How is the gift card delivered?
Straight to the recipient's inbox, with a unique code and the value clearly shown. You can send it the moment you buy it, or schedule it to arrive on a future date. The buyer receives a separate confirmation receipt.
Can I send it to myself to give in person?
Yes. Leave the recipient's email blank at checkout and the card comes to you instead, ready to forward, print, or hand over however you like.
Can I schedule it for a birthday or a special date?
You can. Pick a delivery date at checkout and we will deliver it to their inbox at 8am on the day you choose. Useful for birthdays, anniversaries, and the "that is tomorrow" moments.
Can I add a personal message?
Yes, and we would encourage it. A short note from you arrives with the card and makes the gift feel like a gift rather than a transaction.
Can I buy several at once, or for my whole team?
For one or two, simply order them separately. For ten or more, or for branded corporate gifting with custom packaging, see our Corporate Gifting page or email hello@trufflehill.com.au and we will take care of it.
Redeeming
How does the recipient redeem it online?
At trufflehill.com.au, they enter the gift card code at checkout and the value is applied to their order. Any remaining balance stays on the card for next time.
Can it be used in store?
Yes. The same code works in person at our cellar door, tasting room, and restaurant at 490 Seven Day Road, Manjimup, and at our Truffle Boutique in Claremont. The recipient just shows the code on their phone or brings a printout.
Does the full amount have to be spent in one go?
No. The balance carries over across as many visits or orders as it takes to use it, right up until the expiry date.
Can it be used on sale items or combined with a discount code?
Yes. A gift card works like any other payment method, so it can be used on sale items and alongside a discount code at checkout.
What if the order costs more than the gift card balance?
No problem. The card covers part of the total and the remainder is simply paid by another method at checkout.
How do I check the balance?
The remaining balance shows at checkout when the code is entered. If you would like us to confirm it for you, reply to your gift card email or call us on (08) 9777 2474.
Validity, terms, and help
When does it expire?
Gift cards are valid for three years from the date of issue, in line with Australian Consumer Law. The expiry date is shown clearly on every card, and any unused balance stays available until then.
Are gift cards refundable?
Gift cards are non-refundable, but the value is never wasted. Any unspent balance carries over for the next visit or order within the validity period.
What currency is the card in?
All gift cards are issued in Australian dollars (AUD).
The recipient lost their code. Can it be resent?
Yes. Reply to the original gift card email, or contact us at hello@trufflehill.com.au or (08) 9777 2474, and we will resend it.
