Ingredients

  • Sourdough bread, cut into thin slices
  • 100g softened salted butter
  • 10g Preserved Truffle

Method

  1. Using a bread knife, cut thin slices of sourdough bread.
  2. Spread a thin layer of softened butter on both sides of the bread slices.
  3. Slice the truffles very thinly.
  4. Place the truffle slices generously on one slice of buttered bread.
    Top with a second slice of buttered bread to make a sandwich.
  5. Apply another light layer of butter to the exterior sides of the sandwich.
  6. Toast the prepared sandwich in a sandwich press until golden and crispy (about 2 minutes).
  7. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
